new years resolution
I’ve done this every year since freshmen year of high school. I think I did this the new years of my freshmen year because I wasn’t happy and I decided to change. Well, it worked. I was shyer in the beginning of high school and I wasn’t involved. I decided that I had to try harder the next year and push myself to do different things. Now, I always make resolutions every year....

Where should I go study abroad?
My official decision: I am studying abroad this summer. I have to do it or I will never do it. I have to finish this application BEFORE break is over. End of story.

Mom: She does to me!
Dad: We don't expect you to give things to us.
Mom: I do. Big things.
Dad: (laughs) What does she owe you?
Mom: Christina, what do you owe me? hmmm..
Me: Um.. Life?
reflections part two.
I’ve been worrying a lot about life lately. What to do with my life? How to pay back all my school loans? How am I going to build up my resume? Am I going to study abroad? Money, family, friends, alsdkjflsd, etc. Basically, just every aspect of life.
Today, I went out to dinner with my parents. I am very lucky that I can talk to my parents and share my worries with them. I told them what I...
reflections part one.
I usually like to write reflections before every new year or after every quarter. It seems that time flies by faster and faster in college. Every new quarter seems like a rebirth of new goals and reviving my motivation. But I think I often use the excuse of “next quarter I will do better”. Well this quarter, I really did try to be better. I reflected a lot during summer and I really...

Have you ever had one of those days where nothing all that monumental happens, but by the end of it you have no idea who you are or what the hell you’re doing with your life?
